About

Sondhus (Sahn - duss) was founded by Jim Keller in 2010 to offer custom studio design and fabrication services in New York City. In the past 13 years, Sondhus has grown into a design/build firm with significant industry recognition and studio design projects across the country, ranging from small personalized mix rooms, to larger institutional facilities.

The work of today’s audio professional is highly varied, so we take pride in a personalized approach to every project, tailoring the function, acoustics, and aesthetics of our designs to each client. Sondhus rooms are notable for their musicality, comfort, function, and quality craftsmanship.

Our designs are realized in our 5,000 sq. ft. Connecticut workshop, which is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC and fabrication tooling. Here, our skilled team of craftsmen builds acoustic millwork, custom studio furniture and studio storage systems.
